Terms of Service Agreement

1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

a. Participant acknowledges that this retreat involves activities such as outdoor excursions, physical movement, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and the optional use of sacred mushrooms (psilocybin-containing fungi) as part of a spiritual practice.

b. Participant assumes all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, psychological effects, emotional distress, and travel-related risks.

c. By signing this agreement, Participant voluntarily waives, releases, and discharges Sage Wise Co., its owners, facilitators, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation in the retreat.

2. No Refunds & Cancellation Policy

a. All retreat purchases are final. Due to the intimate nature of this experience, we do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to illness, travel disruptions, or personal emergencies.

b. If Participant is unable to attend, their spot may be transferred to another qualified individual with prior approval from Sage Wise Co.

c. In the unlikely event that Sage Wise Co. must cancel the retreat, Participant will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to a future retreat. However, Sage Wise Co. is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as flights, lodging, or travel expenses.

3. Participation & Personal Responsibility

a. Participant agrees to engage in the retreat activities with respect, integrity, and personal accountability.

b. Participant understands that the retreat experience is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

c. Participant certifies that they are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in the retreat. If there are any health concerns, it is their responsibility to consult a healthcare professional prior to attending.

4. Sacred Mushroom Use, Spiritual Practice & Informed Consent

a. The retreat includes an optional sacred mushroom journey. Participant understands that participation is a personal choice and that Sage Wise Co. does not require or pressure anyone to partake.

b. Sacred mushrooms are used within the context of a legally protected religious and spiritual practice. Participant acknowledges that the use of psilocybin in this setting is intended for spiritual growth, self-inquiry, emotional healing, and expanded consciousness.

c. Participant understands that psilocybin-containing mushrooms are classified as a controlled substance in many regions; however, under the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), individuals have the right to engage in religious and spiritual practices, including the ceremonial use of sacred plant medicines.

d. Participant confirms that they have conducted their own research on the risks and benefits of psilocybin use and have no known medical conditions, allergies, or contraindications that would make participation unsafe.

e. Participant agrees to disclose any relevant medical or mental health history confidentially to retreat facilitators if requested.

5. Code of Conduct & Dismissal

a. Sage Wise Co. is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and high-vibration space. Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior toward facilitators, staff, or other participants will not be tolerated.

b. If Participant is found to be under the influence of unauthorized substances, engaging in inappropriate behavior, or failing to adhere to the retreat guidelines, Sage Wise Co. reserves the right to dismiss them from the retreat without refund.

6. Media Release

a. Participant understands that photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional and educational purposes.

b. By signing this agreement, Participant grants Sage Wise Co. permission to use their image for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the retreat.

7. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By purchasing a ticket and attending this retreat, Participant affirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Participant further acknowledges that they:

• Are voluntarily participating at their own risk

• Assume full responsibility for their choices and well-being

• Understand that no refunds will be issued under any circumstance

• Recognize their right to engage in protected religious and spiritual practices

• Have researched the risks and rewards of sacred mushroom use and accept full responsibility for their experience
